Inflation hit you hard? Not enough money for a better PC?
Look no further!

Improves performance on all low-end GPUs via removing everything not paper map and converting everything to paper map view, also removes cities and stuff.
Enjoy the game without the graphical gimmicks.

(yes, I would love to see my trains and stuff, but I prefer actually being to play the game to seeing trains with 15fps)

Should still mostly work, you just have to ignore the warning in the launcher.

My graphics card isn't in the best shape, this mod lets me keep enjoying the game. I hope you'll consider making similar mods for other paradox games, like the upcoming EU5.

It's more complicated than removing all the things I already removed (for example trains) because they work differently. But I might look into it in the future. Note that they shouldn't get loaded when you don't zoom further in than the default zoom.

Is it possible to completely remove cities from the map so the GPU doesn't need to even load them in the first place? The performance increase is already amazing, but it could be better (altough I'm not really an expert in performance improvements). I would love Paradox to add this option in the base game, the paper map can look surpisingly good for medium zoom levels (especially Germany)

You can still see cities and trains in some places, like England.Would like to be able to see the country colors at max zoom instead of pure white, thanks.
