Seeing as the current mod author is MIA is there any chance you would consider implementing a fix for this into this mod?
I would do it if I had any coding experience but I wouldn't even know where to begin
I started getting these errors, among others sometime around early february. At the time I thought the culprit was HAR, as I rolled that mod back and it seemed fixed, but then it broke again, and despite several days of dropping mods and trying anew, I still haven't found what it is that causes the errors, and now the game won't even start despite verifying and clearing the cache.
But I guess I should unsub from every single faction mod that hasn't been updated then if it's related to drop pods. What a mess.
Similar exceptions could be thrown due to other bugs. This patch just adds an XML node called thinkTreeConstant to the feral mutant race and federation bion race to fix the errors that occurred when a drop pod raid containing these pawns is generated. So I think it can only fix errors caused by a mutant or a bion.
I don’t really know the mechanism behind thinkTreeConstant and these errors, but maybe you could do the same thing to the pawn race mentioned in your error message.
