描述
What does the Attila shop says? ‘Against a darkening background of famine, disease and war…’ So have you ever wondered why disease is such a small mechanic with almost negligible effects on your empire? Well, wonder no more, as this mod is set out to solve that!

What does it do?

It overhauls disease mechanics by ramping up infectivity, integrity malus to troops, PO debuffs in infected settlements and making it finally possible for an epidemic to ravage your lands! With this mod, you’ll have a reason to start a trade embargo against an infected AI; maybe you’ll even want to cut trade with some allies, so as to not get them as sick as you! Economical damage and infectivity play the biggest roles, as they historically did, to help with the collapse of your empire.

Don’t fret yet, King, as everything has a solution: Three new edicts come to help you control disease:
-) Quarantine (-15 global food to represent the state feeding the people while they stay at home, +6 to global order,
-5% to the infectivity in a factionwide radious).

-) Sanitary reorganization (+2 to sanitation and -10% local construction costs for sanitary buildings).

-) Plague research (4% to civil research).

In the end there will be a couple more edicts. And I am also planning on adding new events regarding disease (leader/heir getting the sickness, a trait system) but that is for the future. In the meanwhile, let me know what you think about this little overhaul. Next, I’ll be working on a politics overhaul.

Known bugs and limitations

-) The edicts have no text despite the pertinente entry existing on the table, I’ll check it out as soon as I can, as I have other mod proyects to make.

-) Western romans and sassanids have duplicated edicts, but this is not an error, it’s a limitation, as I also built this mod with MK1212 compatibility in mind. In case you do play Mk1212 with this, load it over the script pack, at the very first. Should be highly compatible unless you run another mod that edits the same tables.
