Build Siege Equipment Outside Gates and Forts

描述
Currently, you cannot build siege engines or battering rams in fort/gate battles despite the forts possessing walls and gates. This mod allows you to build siege engines outside forts and gates again. Mod was made for a friend, but I can see how unintuitive the vanilla game makes this mechanic (especially considering you can still build siege equipment outside the Great Bastion) so I've decided to post this here.

- Should be compatible with most mods and save files.

Hey, sorry about the wait. College has been kicking my butt and for some reason Steam didn't give me the notifs. I've since re-updated the mod and I was able to load a Karl Franz campaign on my end. Lemme know if there are any more issues!

No longer crashes on splash after hotfix 6.1.1.

This mod was "updated" and marked compatible, but is broken. I had to spend a whole hour figuring out which mod it was that was that was crashing my game on startup.

Getting CTD during intro splash on 6.1 even after todays mod update.
Tested with clean mod install (full deactivate/unsub/resub/redownload/activate) and no other mods loaded.

Somehow siege equipment work by this mod in custom battles, too. Maybe mod authors have explanation how they achieved it :)

I'm not exactly sure how that could be implemented. As of right now, I know that all of the siege maps are tied to settlement location on the campaign map rather than the name of the actual map (which would be used in custom battle). If anybody else has any insights, lmk.

I hope this mod could be changed to work in custom battles, too. In vanilla game regardless of mod active siege towers disappear upon battle start, while rams remain. For example, eagle gates siege.

Huh? You don't fancy the idea of just walking up to the most defensible settlements in the game?
