ROLL FOR INITIATIVE

This is a simple mod that randomizes turn order when combat begins. Essentially, it sets all units' starting TTA to zero, then adds a random amount (1-40) to their TTA. Subscribe to this mod if you want some variety in who goes first in combat.

This could be seen as an alternative to Me First. I wouldn't use them both at the same time.

Kelsier - The Mistborn, thank you for explaining why you would like a higher range. The only reason I went with 1-20 is for the D&D reference. I'll consider a switch to 1-40, but it looks like you're figuring it out in the meantime. As for your other question, that chance has been recently modified to include the Drifter passive Forewarning. Forewarning makes the character act first in combat, but it wasn't working with turn scramble effects like this. Now it does.

Nvm... I think I found the location in your files that sets the TTA range. I find that a higher total range allows for spells to be cast a little more flexibly. Some of these added classes have spells with 15 cast times. lol

Is there a way that you could create one that increases TTA range to 1-40? Would be neat to add a variable that can be set with a console command or mod setting for a customized TTA range. Loving it otherwise!

All it does is add a reaction to HP that scrambles turn order at the start of combat. It shouldn’t be incompatible with any mods, and could technically even function with Me First without crashing.

It ignores them. Everyone has their TTA set to 0, and then 1-20 gets added to it, disregarding racial adjustments to TTA.

However, racial adjustments to TTA are still in effect for the rest of combat. Scurio will still get turns faster, for example.
