Here is a new balanced version of this mod

Create massive seaports by building multiple cargo docks.

This is a simple mod which allows you to build more than one Cargo Dock improvement in one city. That allows you:
- not to worry if you build docks on inland waters;
- to build canals which connect bodies of water
- to efficiently build your city in terms of district leveling

This actually sounds really fun, but also massively OP. Especially for the meowgirls, of course. They generate a crapton of stuff from their cargo docks.
I'd certainly be interested in a more expansive version of ocean-building. Wonder what would be possible in that regard..

Yes, but with a caveat. It is vanilla value docks add to every water tile. I think that it's unbalanced too. Given you can build docks to be able to build even more.
I tried to tweak docks build cost, but this may be just not enough.

Each dock adds +5 production to every exploited water tile. It's too powerful. Is this intended?

Technically it is possible to create new types of districts. We could create new district type that would stand on water terrain. Add different bonuses to it and maybe give some similarity to docks like embark cost reduction. However this is out of scope of this particular mod.
If you interested in more different disctricts I suggest you to look into Combo Techs mod by Enchanteur

Would it be possible to make a new district type rather than allow multiple docks? Something like those shanty seatown shacks on pillars, with some minor benefit, but mostly to be able to have district levelling?

@Sephiroth Thank you for your suggestions.
Right now the cost is calculated like this:
Cost = (NumberOfDocksInCity * 1.1 + 1) * 600
I think that 1.1 is a too minor modifier to have an influence. I would like to do some tests changing this value.
About fixed quantity I don't realy want it to be that way. I want the player to be free though that freedom does not always means efficiency.
And about binding docks quantity to districts quantity. It's an intresting idea and should be technicaly possible. A drawback it would be unintuitive mechanic. For now I'll stick to changing modifier and see if it do the difference.

Hello, how about to limit docks per city in form of some fixed quantity(3-4) or if it possible to make extra docks be available for every 4+ districts constructed. Then it will be more logical that in bigger city has more docks available and make their cost increase 2x for every next u try to build?

I thought about the balance this mod changes. It seems that building docks is too profitable right now. Maybe I should change the cost and how it scales? Don't want it to be a hard meta.
