Liberation of Bajookieland [Mission]

In the years leading up to the second World War, the Empress of the island nation of Bajookieland became more imperialist. Despite their isolationist stance on world politics, Bajookieland continuously received economic and military support from axis forces like Italy, Spain, and Germany with their goal of making Bajookieland an axis-aligned nation. Bajookieland, although not completely prepared for war, was invaded by neighboring country Canada upon British entry into WW2. Throughout the 1930's, Bajookieland was seen as a threat to allied shipping in the Atlantic and was feared to be eventually used as a possible staging area for an axis land invasion of Canada and the United States. The surprise attack on September 3, 1939, was ordered by the Canadian government and allies to remove the Empress of Bajookieland from power and end axis influence over the island country. The ensuing came to be known as the "Liberation of Bajookieland", putting Bajookanese imperialist-loyal military forces against the invading Canadians. Although armed with european axis-imported weapons like rifles, a few light tanks, and anti-aircraft guns, the Bajookanese military was unable to stop the Canadians due to their lack of land defenses and Canadian air superiority, utilizing their Spitfire attack planes.

Units of the combined Canadian Army and Navy conducted a surprise naval landing on Bajookieland at the capital of the territory of West Bajookie. After the capture of West Bajookie, the Canadians proceeded inland and captured the Brongulus District, which is its own miniature state and the capitol of the whole of Bajookieland. It was the seat of the government and location of the palace of the Empress of the country. After the capture of the capitol city and nearby villages, the Canadians moved towards South Bajookie encountering heavy resistance. Overcoming this, they captured the capitol of South Bajookie and continued their attack towards North Bajookie. After the capture of North Bajookie's capitol and nearby villages, the remaining Bajookanese military surrendered. An allied-aligned president was eventually put in place to run Bajookieland, and the fate of the Empress is unknown or lost to history.
