[WoW] Companion Drakes (Dragonflight)

描述
This mod is an early "Dragonflight Expansion" project from WoW that has been waiting on halt for some time, but I eventually decided to finish it up as best I could and release it. It was intended for me as practice in animating 4-legged playable models again, and I am mostly happy with the results.



What does this mod include?
⦁ Companion Drake (with/without harness/armor)

  • Customization truly knows no bounds! Deck out your personal Drake model how you want, using Draconic Base for even further options to mix and match. The screenshots alone are simply not enough to show just how much you can do with them.

    Recommended Addons
    ➤ Draconic Base (Highly Recommended)

    This base is required in order to customize additional colors on your character, by using the included Character Editor in the context menu. You can still use this mod without it, but you will be restricted to some colors only!

    ➤ Ragdoll Color and Model Tools

    This tool lets you interact with ragdolls of this mod to set some of their colors on the ground. This one is important in case you wish to customize ragdolls.

    ➤ Easy Animation Tool

    This tool is fantastic in case you plan to pose the ragdolls by animations. There are lots of animations included with these models that you can make direct cinematographic use of. You can skip this if you don't care about posing ragdolls using animations.

    ➤ Death Animations

    These models come included with one or several death animations that can be picked up by this mod. I've noticed a slight issue with hair colors not remaining consistent on death while using it so be aware of this issue in client/server scenarios.

I agree, named bones would be great for posing these guys! They're fantastic model ports, but that's really the only issue I have with them is that you never know what bone you have selected

I do wish the bones were named so that way I know what I am manipulating while trying to pose instead of guessing and hoping. Always been a big sticking point for your models for me. I don't know what I'm editing half the time and have to trail and error it.

Someone should make actual rideable (vehicle) drakes, ideally with replicated controls. Playermodels are kinda meh but that would be pretty dope.

I do kind of wished the bones were labbed with something more discriptive then x bone number. Make posing a little easier.

quick question: many WoW players are requesting tuskarr as an allied race. if this is true and if they are confirmed to be a playable race, would you consider making tuskarr playermodels with animations like the other WoW Playermodels you've done?
