Military Laws

This mod seeks to add a new section of national laws to all countries that control the makeup of their soldiers' identity and character. Six new law types have been added, with many laws within each category being locked behind ideologies, war support, and even desperation for the most extreme laws.

Supervision Laws give you more control over your soldiers' actions on the battlefield while also giving your generals a better chance to learn. Intense supervision makes it easier for generals for study on the battlefield at the cost of a soldier's ability to fight effectively, while lessened supervision gives your soldiers more autonomy over their actions in battle at the cost of your general's ability to learn.

Non-core Manpower Laws seeks to balance the integration of non-core manpower into the military with an army's morale.

Female Service Laws allows for the introduction of women into war, with stability and war support being damaged the more women are introduced and integrated with their male counterparts.

Quality of Training Laws allow you to control how much time a division spends training before being shipped to the front. The less training a soldier gets, the more men can be sent to battle, but at the cost of their ability to fight effectively. The more training a soldier gets, the more effective a soldier is in battle, but at the cost of prolonged training time.

Extent of Conscription Laws deals with the extent to which a country musters manpower for war. While stricter conscription laws filter out many able-bodied men in the name of idealistic soldiers, more relaxed conscription laws allow for even the most unfit people to fight.

Draft Exemption Laws deal with the ever-present reality of draft exemptions. While a small issue with seemingly few repercussions, more liberal exemptions allow for more political power, while stricter exemptions can close any small gaps on the front without needing to make massive changes.

This mod is not integrated with focus trees, instead relying on the AI to make decisions on which laws to take depending on their situation. As a result, this allows the mod to have some compatibility with other mods, so long as those mods do not add or change national law systems as well.
