描述
**Little update on tyres textures that where wrong, woups. ;),
Still to correct the icons for goodyear tires. **

This mod is the historical update of the legendary 1988 cars from carrera4, all credits to him first!
I consider as a priviledge to make this old mod the fresh look and justice he deserves. ;)



Anyway, Doddynco and i, we work together to create an Historic version with alot of new features. (see each mod descriptions of the collection. And... please,...Read lol ;) )

The mod collection is divided in 3 parts :


- "F1 1986 Historical Edition Cars"
- "F1 1986 and 1988 Historical Edition Tracks"
- "F1 1988 Historical Edition Cars" (This mod)


About my work for this mod :

- All new pbr textures
- Rework of physics
(The spin problem is corrected, but still you have to use "Heel and toe technique" to avoid some torque effect as it was with those big powered engines. ;) )
- Tyres rework and performances balanced for great ai competition at any difficulty levels.
- Some sound bug corrections
- Talent file for all drivers to match real balance

These cars are brilliant. I would buy rF2 just for these cars. Unfortunately, I can't (won't) install an actual clutch pedal. It is absolutely required if you want to drive the cars for what they are.

This is probably the most enjoyable mod I've played in my life. I was a little kid when this season took place and I couldn't have even imagined I could relive it this way one day.

HUGE thanks for this man. Unbelievable.

Berger's Ferrari doesn't seem to have engine sounds. Or is it something I have missed from the downloads?

I have found that the turbo cars are too quiet to hear in any forward view, but normal volume in rear view and swingman. Has anybody else seen this? I had the Carrera version of this mod installed but I removed both and the re-subscribed to this one.

Hi, does this mod have a Balance of performance for League racing, or are the differences based on actual real performance?

@nenadgard590. what 1986 mod are you talking about?
We are only working on historical edition.
So other mods are made by other authors.
If it's our HE version, give feedback there to let Doddynco know it. ;)

Trent colette,significally better than 1986 mod since it became broken and unable to reach over 235 km/h since few months ago.
