描述

This a HD update of the original Roo’s Dreadlock Hairstyles Mod, with each hairstyle having been redesigned and scaled to a higher resolution (512 x 512). The hair in this pack ranges from tight dreadlocks to relaxed afros, with an added ‘Dreadlocks only’ gene for Biotech players. This mod still functions perfectly without Biotech.

Gene:

Dreadlocks Only

Carriers of this gene are born with dreadlocked or afro hair. The gene adds no complexity or changes to metabolic efficiency and is displayed alongside other hair genes.

For modders: If you want to include hairstyles in this gene’s hairstyle pool, the style must be given the ‘Dreadlocks’ StyleTag. If you’re making a xenotype mod and want to use this gene in your mod, you’re more than welcome to.

Works Well With:

• Character Editor – Allows you to customise pawns on the fly.
• Cherry Picker – Remove individual hairstyles that you don’t like.
• HD Pawn Rendering - Renders hairs at full resolution.

- Is this mod available at a lower resolution?
A lite version of this mod, where the hairs are rendered at 128x128, can be downloaded for free on my Ko-Fi page.[ko-fi.com]

- I want the old version back!
A. The legacy version of this mod will remain on the Steam Workshop for all your low-res needs.

- Can I use this without the Biotech DLC?
A. Yup, the Dreadlocks Only Gene only appears when Biotech is installed.

- Can I use this mod in conjunction with the legacy / lite versions
A. Yes! Lots of people requested this before, so the answer is now yes! Each pack uses different hairDefs, meaning they can all be active in the same game.

- Do I still need to use Hair Modding Plus?
A. No, Rimworld now natively supports alpha layers.

- How do I make a hair mod myself?
A. I made a comprehensive hair modding guide here!

Since this mod has been reported working in 1.6 I added it to the No Version Warning-mod

I tested this mod out and far as I can tell it still works in 1.6. Haven't been able to try *every* hairstyle from this mod, but the ones I have tried did work. Hope this helps!

This mod is super good, one of the best aesthetic mods I've seen. However, it seems to be incompatible with Vanilla Races Expanded - Phytokin, because using it with that mod makes all the plantkin xenotypes bald no matter what, lol. Dunno why that is, hope bringing it to your attention helps!

hey, just coming in here to say that you accidentally put CutoutComplex on RBDHD_Hangout. Since it doesn't have a mask, the hair ends up white. Removing this line restores the original hair color
