This is a HD update of my original Roo’s Glasses Hairs Mod- all hairs have been redrawn at a higher resolution and to match better with the vanilla art style. Each hairstyle has glasses rendered as part of it, so no more worrying about glasses taking up a valuable apparel slot.





Works Well With:




• Character Editor – Allows you to customise pawns on the fly.
• Cherry Picker – Remove individual hairstyles that you don’t like.
• HD Pawn Rendering - Renders hairs at full resolution.
• Hair Modding Plus - Introduces secondary colours, masks and hair back sprites.


Q. Is this mod available at a lower resolution?
A. A lite version of this mod, where the hairs are rendered at 128x128, can be downloaded for free on my Ko-Fi page.[ko-fi.com]

Q. I want the old version back!
A. The legacy version of this mod will remain on the Steam Workshop for all your low-res needs.

Q. Does this mod support Humanoid Alien Races 2.0?
A. Technically yes, but you might encounter some visual collision between the glasses and certain alien races, especially if they have more or less than two eyes.

Q. The glasses look really dark on my pawns.
A. Please download Hair Modding Plus to fix this issue.

Q. How do I make a hair mod myself?

Q. 90% of the pawns that spawn in my game have glasses.
A. Saturate your hairstyle pool a little more…which is a convenient segue to showing you some of my other other mods. 👀

hey quick question, could you make it so the hairstyle of "bald with glasses" is categorized with "bald"? This is mostly for the genie xenotype, as they have no hair, but for some reason cannot have glasses because its technically hair. Please make it so genies have glasses, thanks and hope you have wonderful day.

Since this mod has been reported working in 1.6 I added it to the No Version Warning-mod

@Skullito that should be the case, I've been using it. The glasses are a part of the hair not the face.

Hey there! I've updated the mod to account for Rimworld's new compatibility with hair masking! Now you shouldn't need any extra mods to preserve the extra colours of the glasses. Also thanks AtomicDeathclaw, I've fixed Standardglassesdreadsmale_south now! :steamhappy:

Is it possible to make these hat-compatible? I love these hairs, but all of them sans the bald ones clip through every hat

Ok I understand thanks, did you plan to release a mod with just the glasses as an item that we could put on any pawn who would suddenly keep his haircut?
