PingWorks F-7J

The PingWorks F-7J is a first generation fighter jet aircraft developed from the propeller driven F-7A during the end of The Second World War for the New Maurian Air Force. It was the most advanced fighter aircraft to ever exist up to that point. However, like most aircraft of the period, it was outdated quickly, and within a couple years it was exclusively used as a daytime point defense interceptor, fitted with radar guided missiles. This specific F-7J was the last to be pulled out of service. It was fitted with radar missiles and was used extensively in the NMAF but never saw combat.

Years after the F-7J was phased out, information was declassified, and the public became aware of it's horrible service record with the NMAF. The type was frequently involved in accidents due to it's vicious flight characteristics. It was also hated by mechanics because it used high pressure hydraulics and had over complicated electronics. At any point in time, about 2 in 3 aircraft were out of service in need of repairs. Because jet engines were a new technology, they were unrefined, with relatively low power. To bypass this, engineers implemented a WEP mode for the jets where more fuel would be shoved into the engine, generating much more power, but at the cost of huge fuel consumption.

1. Flip the ON switch to turn on aircraft.
2. Throttle up with up/down arrow keys.
3. Gear and WEP switches can be found on bottom right of seat.
4. DO NOT USE WEP UNLESS NECESSARY. While it increases the max speed, it also increases the fuel consumption, and reduces the engine's lifespan.
