[BROKEN BY THE UPDATE] 241-P Mountain locomotive - ENGINE

• realistic change : THE LOCO CAN'T MOVE ANYMORE IF LESS THAN 1 BAR OF STEAM PRESSURE
  
• changed max firebox temp from 150°C to 180°C
  
• fluid hose system (between tender and loco) replaced by automatic fluid port
  
• battery charge display fixed
  
• firebox ignite/shut key button moved from the right side to the top of the firebox
  
• key button on the right side of the firebox now controls the water intake pumps
  
• moved smokebox front door key button from the bottom to the side of the smokebox door

After working on the previous two articulated garratt type locomotives, I decided to make one of my favorite french locomotive : the 241-P from the PLM railway company.
I'm proud of the overall result and I was careful to keep it very close to the real locomotive.

This loco is powered by a Steam boiler connected to the Steam pistons and a steam turbine with a generator.
As the big train wheels are completely bugged, I made an auxiliary electric transmission to help the loco to move smoothly with heavy loads.

I tried to made this loco as easy as possible to drive.
To start the boiler you only have to turn on the key on the right side of the firebox.
I made everything concerning the steam engine automaticaly managed so you have no chance of boiler overpressure explosion or overheat.
On the righ side of the firebox you can switch on the water pups to refill the boiler.
You can use directly the electric power to move the train but I strongly recommend to start the steam engine to get batteries loaded continuously.

• Max speed (light weight) : 22.5m/s (80km/h = 49.5mph)
  
• Max speed (heavy weight) : 16.7m/s (60km/h = 37.2mph)
