Incompatible with the main mod: Meant for standalone use.

Adds ground meat and enviromeat.

Ground Meat and Enviromeat are craftable at a butcher table after researching 'meat grinding.'

Ground Meat!

No longer will your fridge shelf be full of random piles of different kinds of meats! For the low price of a bit of labor, pawns can now grind non-human, non insectoid meat into nice, consistent ground meat! Ground meat stacks up to 300 per stack, and is much easier to store. It comes with recipes for converting 20, 40, 80, and 160 at a time, meaning that no matter the size of the Manhunter pack, you'll have a way to store all of that random animal meat without needing to turn it into meals. Just be careful storing it - ground meat rots faster than regular meat. It's the surface area, after all.

Mystery Meat!

Delicious. Ethical. Renewable. While definitely one of those things, Enviromeat is the leading meat for all of your fast-food needs! Merely spend some time grinding up any sort of meat into a consistent slurry, and then cook it - your pawns will hardly notice a difference! Unfortunately, the process is quite lossy. The 20, 40, 80 and 160 recipes provided only output 15, 30, 60, and 120 Enviromeat - so be careful what you put into that grinder! Just don't eat it raw - Or you'll be wishing you were dead.

Updated to 1.5... And removed the x16 recipes from the mini mod. The bulk recipes only really add clutter for the sort of light packs that this is meant for. If you desperately need the x16 meat recipes, then you'd likely be better off running Munchies instead.

I considered it, but there's only very few veggies in vanilla, and so many mods care more about what kind of veggie is used than meat. I definitely *could*, but I'd need art assets and a reason.

No it's just the higher stack limit of ground meat is nice for storage. Like I said, bit of a niche case.

I don't see the need to do so. Unlike with animals, there's really only one kind of human and insect meat... So just don't grind it up?

This mod mostly existed because I'd look in my freezzer and find megasloth, rat, squirrel, dromedary, and sheep meat, and would use a mod to just convert it all to chicken.

This way, you don't need to do such destructive patching, and instead can convert what you want, when you want.

Is there a particular mod that adds a ton of different insect or human meats? I'll take a look if there is.

I know this is a bit of a niche use case, but on ideological colonies who like human or insect meat, there's no way for them to grind it up without both losing the mood buff and a quarter of the nutrition. I don't suppose you'd be willing to give each of them a recipe for grinding just it by itself?

I like the ground meat idea, same as patchleather in essence.
