Maelstrom's Munchies

Adds mass versions of cooking and drug recipes, with increased skill requirements. Additionally, allows crafting Nutrient Paste, disgusting animal food, and two new kinds of lightly processed meat!

Note: This mod includes the content of my Ground Meat and Slop mini-mods, and thus is incompatible with them. This version also includes x16 recipes for the items within. Think of this mod as the 'big modpack' version of those two.

This mod adds the following content:

x8 and x16 recipes for:

Meals (Simple, Fine, Lavish, Pemmican, Baby Food, Survival) - includes vegetarian and carnivore options for meals.

Drugs (Wort, Psychite Tea, Smokeleaf, Flake, Yayo, Penoxycylene, Go-Juice, Wake-Up) - Requires a new research with the prerequisites of all other drug research. Also, x8 and x16 for industrial medicine!

x8 recipes have an increased skill requirement of 3 from the base meal (4, if the meal is lavish). x16 recipes have an increased skill requirement of 6 from the base meal (8, if lavish).

That's not all! All x8 and x16 recipes get a bonus to workspeed due to mass production. x8 recipes cook in the same time it takes to cook 7 meals, one after another, and x16 recipes cook in the time it takes to make 12.

x4, x8, and x16 recipes for Kibble! No longer will you struggle to feed your chickens - just make a huge batch at the same time!

Cookable Nutrient Paste!

Nutrient Paste is now cookable at a Chemfuel refinery. Although definitely not instant compared to the machine, and much less hygenic (It can cause food poisoning), it is easier to mass produce, and much, much better for feeding animals.

Ambrosia Juice!

Requiring a mastery of drug production (And the knowledge of how to mass produce them), your pawns can now extract the addictive juices from Ambrosia fruit into bottles for storage, which never rot. You also get quite a bit of nutrition back in tasty Ambrosia rinds, which are good raw, or even better cooked into food.

Ground Meat! (Part of Maelstrom's Minis - Meat)

No longer will your fridge shelf be full of random piles of different kinds of meats! For the low price of a bit of labor, pawns can now grind non-human, non insectoid meat into nice, consistent ground meat! Ground meat stacks up to 300 per stack, and is much easier to store. It comes with recipes for converting 20, 40, 80, and 160 at a time, meaning that no matter the size of the Manhunter pack, you'll have a way to store all of that random animal meat without needing to turn it into meals. Just be careful storing it - ground meat rots faster than regular meat. It's the surface area, after all.

Mystery Meat! (Part of Maelstrom's Minis - Meat)

Delicious. Ethical. Renewable. While definitely one of those things, Enviromeat is the leading meat for all of your fast-food needs! Merely spend some time grinding up any sort of meat into a consistent slurry, and then cook it - your pawns will hardly notice a difference! Unfortunately, the process is quite lossy. The 20, 40, 80 and 160 recipes provided only output 15, 30, 60, and 120 Enviromeat - so be careful what you put into that grinder! Just don't eat it raw - Or you'll be wishing you were dead.

Meat Nuggets!

Less-than-nutritionally-efficient than a real meal, nevertheless, all pawns enjoy them, abiet a bit less than a fine meal. Edible by colonists, babies, children, and man-children alike. Comes in three pleasing animals shapes!

Durians!

A rare, and... uh, edible delicacy now on the rim. You can't grow them just yet, and eating them raw is not advised, but they... are mostly fine when cooked into meals? Only a true Psychead would turn them into a weapon though...

Slop! (Part of Maelstrom's Minis - Slop)

Tired of making baby food for your chickens? Slop is the answer! Incredibly nutrient-rich for its cost, Slop rots quickly, but is ideal for feeding large swarms of animals. Comes in three flavors - meat, veggie, and kibble, with the kibble flavor requiring both meat and vegetables, as well as being more efficient.
