描述
Are you for one frankly sick of getting told exactly what items do to you, tired of all that needless knowledge and lack of thematic consistency in item descriptions?

Well nondescript descriptions is the mod for you, this mod takes all the silly "tears up", "HP up" and "reusable fly generator" type descriptions and completely removes them in favour of flavour text in line with the game's dark tones and morbid comedy with a few out of the blue reference thrown in for fun!

Changes many items from many pools including, treasure, shop, secret, angel, devil, planetarium items and even trinkets!

NOTE: Should? be compatible with most other mods and repentance+

hey instead of editting items.xml you should use this instead, it uses .lua so it should be compatible with any type of mod

@Kotry thanks for the tip, it helped me get things in order, you and anyone subscribed will be glad to know that this mod is now fully functional on its now newer and updated files with both black bean and breath of life functional as intended

Oh and as it was your issue originally @Flacker the two items are now fully functional, should be not a problem to be had with either anymore :steamthumbsup:

Well by looking on comments looks like you edited the items.xml and maybe uploading an older version of it, i recomend making the description changing on lua using the method from this mod: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2853478372

Update, have been able to bodge together a fix for Breath of life so it Should? be working as intended, black bean however still does not function correctly so steer clear

I will be hopefully seeking out help to fix this issue however for the time being i recommend avoiding those items or disabling the mod till a fix can be found

@Flacker Hmm, so they do, after some testing I'm not particularly sure why either, neither of their actual code or function was changed from their original Items.xml file in creation of the mod and without the mod the original XML files allow them to function correctly, only black bean had its description changed and breath of life was entirely untouched...

(My lack of modding knowledge probably doesnt help, i only ever intended to make a very simple mod so if any one else has any knowledge to help work this out that could be wonderful)

and Black bean goes from "5 farts in quick succession when you take damage" to "take damage once, and you just keep farting, perpetually, without ever stopping, nothing can touch you, the run is basically broken."
