what happens is:
lets say AI wants to import sth for 5 dollars from you. normally the export tax or export tariff is like 10% or so, so 0.5 dollars. so combined, the thing is worth 5.5 dollars in AI's country
with this mod, AI now pays 50 dollars. multiply that by even just 100 items, it's already 5k gold.
normally the AI does a good job of cancelling the trade or not trying to import from you the goods you've put on "Protect Domestic Supply". sometimes it screws up
Edit: So I did more tests and tweaks, the AI does cancel trade normally, but it takes a bit of time to calculate the trade route value, so you'll see a temp income spike. Small price to pay in my opinion
