Updates: now with 3 new production methods

Hi, this mod is to improve and make Canals worth it. In the game all they do is give prestige ... yeah worthless and they can't keep them selfs sustainable/profitable so you need to pay for them forever.
In this mod as you can see in the picture i gave the Canals what they should have by default, Services and Transportation since that is their purpose, 500 was the best number i could think since you can only build 1 and only 2 Canals exist in the world. Also added 50 infrastructure to it, makes sense to me that it would give that just like a railway or a port does.

Includes Japanese localization thanks to "tKitashiro"

This needs to be fixed. Even after unsubscribing I can't get rid of the canals everywhere, even in the middle of the desert.

Great mod but pls fix it. The chanals can be placed everywhere. Baden became a mayor power because it build the sues chanel in 1960 south germany XD

The mod is broken. The canals can be built in every state.

@Serenisima This mod is essentially outdated now since 1.7. It is now a government building (like university) and you will pay for it no matter what. The canal currently is a joke until they rework the trade system.
