Diplomacy

A vanilla-friendly mod for the campaign and sandbox modes of Bannerlord. Diplomacy's goal is to provide balanced, fun, and creative options for characters to have an impact on the world, including both the player and NPCs. Diplomacy creates more believable world behaviors while giving the player the agency to shape their world.

The mod requires: Harmony, Butterlib, UiExtenderEx, MCM v5 and should be loaded after native mods.

FAQ
Q: Can the mod be added or removed midgame?
A: Yes and yes

Q: How to resolve the infinite loading screen on Linux with Proton?
A: Install dotnet472

Q: Will newer versions of the mod work with old game versions (v1.2.x and earlier)?
A: No. Use old steam workshop version above, or download the mod from Nexus Mods, there's old version under Miscellaneous tab in files.

Q: I want/need to use MCM v4
A: We only support MCM v5, you can get v1.1.13 of the mod from NexusMods which supports MCM v4. But no new changes will be backported to it.

Q: My game crashes!
A: Provide a crash report. A full crash report, not a screenshot or copypasted part of it! Any reports of your game crashing without a submitted crash report will not be investigated. Most likely they will not even be answered, or the answer will be just a copy of this text.

Q: When support for version X?

2. Check the change notes for supported versions, not the compatible versions field

Additionally it is often useful to also provide the save file as well if the issue is not trivial, if you're not sure, provide the save file as well.
