Cave Johnson here. We just finished perfecting the new Aperture Science Oscillating Pulse Drive - catchy, right? It allows stuff to switch on and off on an automatic timer.

Anyway, soon we're going to use this new technology to create a new type of strobe lighting for use in discos and nightclubs.

Thing is, we need you to test it. No, we're not asking you to go clubbing - that would be irresponsible and unsafe - you could tell people about our top secret experiments. Instead, we're doing something utterly responsible and safe: exposing you to copious amounts of concentrated radiation. For science.

Just make sure you don't get killed - because if you do - you're fired.

Hm... the pulse laser actually doesn't add anything to the puzzle but an almost irrelevant timing ^^
The bootstrapped laser... well... maybe it was new at the time ;-)

Good fun and interesting re pulsed lasers, but personally, I found the way you keep the bridge on is the really good (better?) concept.

something a little different with the intermittent laser. really liked it
