Customize Your Steering Wheel: Choose The Parts

This is an improved version of this mod. Here you can choose each part.

Due to the limitations of the game, I had to come up with something. Now you have to figure out what part goes where. But the icons will guide you.

Check out my mod that includes a few pre-configured steering wheel designs. Come back, if you're looking for more options.

Which parts do you like? Which don't you use at all? What would you like to see more variations of?

I have to admit, not all combinations will make perfect sense from a design perspective. Some won't make sense at all, e.g. black trim on a black hub.

But here we go, these are the parts:

• Hub: chrome, black, or truck paint
  
• Spokes: 3 or 4 spokes
  
• Spokes: chrome, black, or truck paint
  
• Handle: walnut root wood, oak wood, bleached oak wood, black stained wood, black leather, also bicolor walnut and black wood with chrome separators
  
• Bolts: chrome, black, or truck paint
  
• Hub cover: walnut, oak, bleached oak, chrome, black, or truck paint (or none)
  
• Hub trim: chrome, black, walnut, or truck paint (or none)
  
• Rivets: chrome, black, or white (or none)

• Select a wheel base like any other steering wheel. It will be only a chrome or black hub in this case. But red attachment points will appear.
  
• Now use the red addon attachment points. Pay attention to the icons that show what parts go where. Or refer to the image in the gallery.
  
• Use the four outer red addon attachment points to add knobs, just like you can with all the other wheels
