Squaddie: Disassembly | Hack | Haywire Protocol | Slugger
LCPL: Caustic Protocol | Failsafe | Armour Protocol
CPL: Caustic Engineer | Trojan | Heat Ammo
SGT: Acid Grenade Airdrop | Deployable XCOM Drone | Shotgun Finesse
SSGT: Cold Blooded | Hotwire Protocol | Run And Gun
TSGT: Acid Mine Protocol | Full Override | Fracture
GSGT: Heavy Hitter | Mechanical Supremacy | Double Tap

Slugger: Shotgun Attacks have no range penalty
Caustic Protocol: NTE, Deal acid damage, apply acid burning, and shred a small amount of armour on a target. 2 Charges
Armour Protocol: Free Action. Give a friendly unit temporary armour and dodge, but reduce their defense. 3 Charges
Deployable XCOM Drone: Summons a XCOM Drone with stats based on gremlin tier
Acid Mine Protocol: Apply an acidic mine to a target that detonates when they are damaged, dealing acid damage, applying acid burn, and shredding armour. 1 Charge
Hotwire Protocol: NTE, Give a friendly mechanical unit a standard action point. 2 Charges
Caustic Engineer: Caustic Protocol, Acid Grenade Airdrop, and Acid Mine Protocol gain 1 Charge.
Mechanical Supremacy: super charge a robotic ally massively increasing most of their stats for 4 turns.
Deplyoable Resistance Mec: Summons a Resistance Mec with stats based on gremlin tier

Tried without a laptop and was able to hack at distance, so looks like a weird mod conflict with the laptop mod, not sure why it seemed to only effect the Roboticist and not the other hacker classes, but no worries thanks for the response and hints to the problem.

yeah no problems with any other class, just this one, must be some odd mod conflict. might try them without the laptop and see if that fixes it.

most likely an issue on your end, can your other gremlin users act normally? I remember episodezero sometimes having a glitch with gremlin users with laptops equipped

Remote hacking is not working for me on the Roboticist, I'm using Mod jam + lots of extra classes. Not getting the hack at distance or even when sitting on the green hack point. The laptop option to lower hack defense doesn't work either, and I don't think I had remote hack option for drones either, but don't know if I should.
