Great handling. The yaw turning is quite slow though, but otherwise it's enjoyable to fly.

I havent had any problems with this helicopter, it might be your controls.

why does the collective go from 0 to 100 immediatly instead of gradually? is it something with my controls?

For remote targeting using the OMNI OH12J, you should be able to find a keypad with a frequency setting. Make sure you are aiming at your target using the camera operator seat, and the laser must be on. On the ship receiving the data you should find remote control radios, you can set one of them to receive on the same frequency as the helicopter.

Then, you just have to set the targeting system on your desired weapon(s) to the remote control setting (usually 2 or 3, depending on which ship, it should be the last option before it goes back to default). Press the "Arm" button. Now you should be able to fire by using the seat in the helicopter.

This system is being phased out for replacement with JDSE Advanced Fire Control System (AFCS) which is currently present in the latest ship, the Lt. Albey-Class destroyer. Hangar-equipped variant and compatible helicopters are planned.

If you mean how to use the FD_Alpha system on ships, refer to these instructions:

You have to use the target designators to find a target.
1. get in the gunner seat down in the CIC (The room below the bridge)
2. Aim at your target
3. For manual designation press 5 and select the L button on the coordinates screen (activates laser-guided mode)
4. find the AG45 gun in the center command console
5. use the "Switch targetting system" button to set it to 1 (1 for the gunner seat, 2 for remote control)
6. press the "Arm" button
