The Imperial Dragon (Karl Franz Mount) [Updated for 5.2]

描述
"There is but one Dragon in the Imperial Zoo, a ferocious beast raised from an egg said to have been taken from the deepest cave in the Black Mountains. None but Emperor Karl Franz have ever dared to ride it, for only he has the strength of will to dominate its cold, aloof mind."

This mod adds the Imperial Dragon to Karl Franz's mount options. It is unlocked at level 21. Deathclaw is still available, of course, as it would be silly to get rid of his iconic griffin. I do not want Deathclaw to become irrelevant. For now, I have given Deathclaw some buffs to make him a bit stronger in a duel. He also gets a small VS large bonus. In terms of stats, the dragon seems a little weaker. However, the dragon also has a more powerful splash attack, so it can hit more enemies with one blow. This means that both mounts have different roles to play. The Deathclaw is good for duels with lords or monsters, while the Imperial Dragon makes short work of hordes of weaker units.

It could be really cool to use a recolour of the carmine dragon's model, as if I remember correctly the carmine dragon model on tabletop could also be turned into an imperial dragon. Plus, it has a much nicer texture than the old High Elf dragons :D

Great mod! One thing I noticed though is that Karl Franz's portrait and unit card is a bit bugged when he's on his dragon and is shown as a goblin in the card and is also missing his name. He's also shown using his game model in his portrait before a battle starts instead of his artwork. A fix would be much appreciated!

Also: I have not really found the time or energy to develop this mod any further besides small fixes between updates, especially because I haven't really been playing WH3 myself lately. I would still like to develop this mod further by adding some cool new features like the ones you all suggested in your comments or by updating the model to fit the empire aesthetic a bit more, but I probably won't have a lot of time to do so in the coming months. So leave me a message if anyone wants to make contributions or help out in any other way. I don't regularly check discord, but I sometimes look through the Modding Den server, so you can also reach out to me there (but again, I only check Discord once every two weeks or so). Not sure if this helps, I will credit CA for verbose error reporting -

The following mods cause a crash to the Database:
imperial_dragon.pack

The first invalid database record is
wh3_default_land_flying_heavywh_main_emp_cha_karl_franz_5 in table
cdir_military_generator_unit_qualities_tables
and pack file imperial_dragon.pack

The application will terminate now.

Good Ser Snijders, please update as soon as you can. Naturally because this is one of the best mods available for the Empire, the Dark Gods of CA saw this and grew jealous and envious of it's majesty - rending it asunder with their latest blighted Nurgle patch. Franz cannot truly be more glorious and radiant as the sun without this. Thank you again, Son of Sigmar.

Could we get an update on this? With 5.2 it's crashing the game to desktop. Apparently it conflicts with the ability table generation.

Love this but can you change the armor on the dragon so it would more like an empire made armor not a high elf one ???
