About

A few more Emerging Culture Names is a simple mod that adds a few predefined culture names for hybridization.

Features
  • The Cossacks hybridize from any East Slavic and any Turkic culture.
  • The Gascons hybridize from Basque and any Frankish culture in Aquitaine.
  • The Kvens hybridize from Sami and any North Germanic culture in Norway or Sápmi.
  • The Wends hybridize from any West Slavic and any Central Germanic culture.

Compatibility

This mod simply adds a few things, it should be compatible with almost all mods. It will naturally conflict with other mods that offer the same features, but nothing would be game breaking.

The Kvens have a diffrent name in Norwegian "Norskfinner" which means Norwegian-Finns so that should be changed

Cossacks are not a people or a nationality. They are a special military class with privileges… They did not have their own language or culture. They are mostly dashing people, bandits… Cossacks, like Vikings, are a profession, an occupation...

Thanks for giving it a try and letting me know! Happy to hear that it works, and yeah it makes sense that it wouldn't work with already hybridized cultures

After some limited testing I think this mod appears to work with existing save games, as long as no hybrid cultures had been created from those combinations involved in your mod.

Heyo! Not sure, I haven't tried. It should be fairly safe to add though, but I can't guarantee that it will work for sure.
