Colsac II

The second of three vessels (currently) to carry the name, the Colsac II operated from 1963 to 2002. It was capable of ferrying 12 vehicles across the Wisconsin River near Merrimac, WI. Ferrying hundreds of thousands of tourists each year across the river.

In terms of the actual stormworks creation, I have used my Colsac III model as a base for this one. Unfortunately very few images exist for this vessel online and even fewer of any quality in which details can be properly made out. As such A lot of guess work was made in this with regards to the exterior. I could find no public images of the vessels interiors either for the wheelhouse or the engine compartment. As such the vessels interiors are designed to be a bit more utilitarian.

In game it is propelled by two propellers each of which is powered by its own diesel engine. One of which is located in each pontoon. The primary changes from the Colsac III is a radically different exterior for the wheel house, the interior in mostly the same with the exception of the removal of the camera monitoring system and the controls for the pedestrian ramps which are also absent on this model. Additionally the Colsac II is a shorter in length than the Colsac III.
