Golden Potions

Ever wish golden critters did more than just what they already do?
Well this mod lets you use them to create upgraded variants of your favorite potions!


This mod is currently in a pre-release state. Feedback is more than appreciated!



CHANGELOG:
- v1.3.0 : Ported to TMod Dec 2024 Update. Fixed Golden Love & Stink potions having the wrong stack size.
- v1.2.0 : Golden Potions now stack to 9999. Fixed Archery++ affecting all projectile-creating weapons.
- v1.1.0 : Ported to 1.4.4. Non '++' buff potions now have a clearer tooltip. Fixed Golden Gender Change Potion's dust code.
- v1.0.2 : Fixed Endurance++ buff.
- v1.0.1 : Fixed Rage++ buff.
- v1.0.0 : Initial release. Added Most recovery potions, all buff potions and an unfinished 'other' potion.

Updated the mod to version 1.4.0, in line with TMod's April 2024 update.
The only real gameplay change is that the Golden Shine Potion is a little brighter, other changes are mostly internal.

Great mod, tried it out in a personal world and it worked as expected, just throwing the idea of mod support out there if you wanted to add it.

I like this mod. Dunno what else you can add to it but I hope it gets more stuff as part of it.

@foodytood - As it turns out, the buff was affecting all projectiles instead of just arrows.

There is something wrong with golden archery potion. If I take of it and swing a shortsword, the sword's reach and damage is extremely increased.

Taking that the Golden Critters are super weird, the recipes should be usable on 30 potions in the upgrades

Just make the golden feather fall have a fast fall effect when pressing down.

So not only was it reducing damage by 80% instead of 20%, after looking at the source code for the regular endurance, it turns out the way I was reducing it was completely wrong.
So, double-fixed.

After playing a bit more, I am inclined to point out that I don't think the golden endurance potion is working properly. Somewhat recently got that available for use, and it seem like it reduces damage taken down to 1 no matter what. Going from taking 100+ damage to literally 1. Feels a little bit like I'm cheating when I use it.
