IF5M4 Astra

The IF5M4 Astra is an tracked armored mortar carrier of the Khertland Army designed for use in mountainous terrain. It has excellent climbing ability although not as good as the CC2 Ibex, it is still very good. The Astra provides indirect fire allowing it to fire over hardcover and on top of enemy vehicles. The range is however very short at 1km, although arguably more useful than the Ibex's range.
For close range self defense, the Astra also is equipped with a single man machine gun turret. The vehicle has a crew of 5-6, 3 for the mortar, a commander, MG gunner, and driver.

The mountain units are designed to be able engage enemy forces within the protection of the hilly and mountainous terrain. By being protected while simultaneously still able to shoot at enemies, it enable the mountain mortar teams to defeat a more powerful armored force as long it is operating in terrain it is designed to navigate in.
