T-Tis

Tractor Trailer Integration System

This is a standardized tractor trailer interface.
Being improved and optimized to be compatible with other systems.

Features

-Realistic lighting
-Jake brake integration
-Trolley Brake integration
-Tractor Supply (release brakes)
-Trailer Supply (release trailer brakes)
-Auto reset 5th wheel. The 5th wheel with auto reset after 30 seconds

Important Dimensions

Distance from the center of the kingpin to the front of trailer IRL is 3'. 4 block would exceed this. 3 blocks is closer to accurate from my experience with my tractor IRL.

Landing gear has been set to a distance of 2.25m from the kingpin. Allowing for clearance of twin screw tractors.

Height of 5th wheel to the ground is 6 blocks
The height of the trailer to the ground is the same 6 blocks

Captain, I like your trucks so much I am starting to support T-TIS as well as SIBTaT on my trailers.

It turns out to be pretty easy to write a controller that does both.

They seem to currently be compatible at least to some level. The dimensions are the same. The channels are easily configurable. Some people have benn running SIBTaT through the 5th wheel and T-TIS through the light cord so that they can use either. I'll try to do a comparability configuration video at some point.

It's nice to see that someone is interested in this things. Good job! I believe that our standards could be combined, but unfortunately I do not have the energy and time to do it - the strongest survives. All I can do is ask you, if it is possible, to use the same codes to transmit data to trailers - so that our systems may be compatible. For those functions that sibtat don't have - use can use any other code numbers. Good for you!
