描述
This creation is a deployable item that requires installation to a vessel to be operated! :)

BACKGROUND
The DEEP VI is a multi-person diving bell that can be deployed from a vessel. Developed by OMUA (Oceanic Marine Underwater Agency), a (fictional) multinational marine and research agency, the DEEP VI features simplistic but functional systems and mechanics. When the airlock is empty, the diving bell is less than 1000 lbs, and is easy to deploy from vessels. When the airlock is filled with water, the diving bell becomes negatively buoyant, and falls to the seafloor. The airlock chamber features automatic doors to prevent water from entering. The cabin space contains 4 seats and a bed, if the underwater mission requires shifts. The there is diving equipment throughout, and emergency system, winch operation controls and other necessities.

SPECIFICATIONS
  • Length: 3 m
  • Cost: $9,300
  • Mass: 940 lbs (Dry Weight)
  • Passenger Seats: 4

FEATURES
  • Functioning airlock
  • Automatic lights
  • Winch controls
  • Extendable legs with mag-alls to attach to seafloor
  • Electric connectors to attach to vessel
  • Emergency system with flare
  • Equipment throughout
  • Backup battery
  • No modded blocks

INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure the winch is attached to the diving bell with a cable, and make sure the diving bell airlock is full of water in order to sink.

TIPS
  • If storing on a vehicle or not using for an extended period of time, turn off the main breaker to conserve battery.

i have problems with the airtank giving me an alarm and the hole upper compartment fills up with water

There is a hose connector wich allows for you to connect the air pump to it and then the air pushes the water out from the bottom doors:steamhappy:

How do i drain the airlock on the bottom of the bell

@MrNerf2632 I'm having the same problems, and I'm also taking damage for even a second whilst in the airlock's water, even at the same pressure that I filled it with.

UNLESS that was intended? Also (this part might be just me) the diving bell ballast doesn't drain despite trying a few different things. It only fills and stays full even out of water WITH the doors open. Might be a bug (or just my game acting weird). Can someone explain all of this?

The Avala has one that has pumps that pumps water in when I open ballast/airlock but doesn't pump water out when it's shut. Fix please?

@puppetmaster5000 it should be this ship: Research/Underwater Mothership R.S.V. Avala + Minisub + Diving Bell + Heli + ROV with Moon Pool
