Against The Giants 4.0

描述
This is an homage to Gary Gygax and his classic work - "Against the Giants" campaign. The story opens in Hillsfar, with towns people being abducted by orcs and goblins. The story the progreses to the slave farms of the Hill Giant Steading , then the Rift of the Jarl King of the Frost Giants and the culmination of the Fire Giant King Sertur and his unholy alliance with the Dark Elves of Lolth.

The game works for both 4/5/6 character campaign - using the Unfinished Business mod - which is required. I would suggest Higher Difficulty level of game for a bigger party. Since the campaign is started at level 1 - you see this IS A HARD CAMPAIGN. Giant hunting is a dangerous business. There are long runs without rest - I wanted this to be as challenging as possible - not for the faint hearted. Save Often - have fun out there.

Is there a fix for the end of the Hill Giants - I got dumped (like most people)?

Started a multiplayer run of this with friends, and cannot enter the Shieldmaiden Inn, simply dumps party back outside after the text screen pops up. Not sure what causes that. Confirmed you can enter it as single player run however.

At a loss. Just started. Cleared the brewery. Cleared the graveyard. Cleared the sewers except for a locked gate I can't get through. I can see an exit in the sewers plus a hall past the unopenable gate. No secret doors that I can find. I've opened everything. What am I missing?

Bonjour de france, like others, we're old DD players, since 1981, and we still play with great pleasure every Friday evening (V3.5 revised and modified by us).
Many thanks for reminding us of this module, played back in the day.
And for a job well done!
We've also finished the first game and, like many others, have come up against the problem that's blocking the rest of the adventure to reach G2.
The famous: The target entrance index is invalid: 0
What's the solution to unlock the rest, knowing that we have the message with the map and that the entire upper and lower levels are complete?
It seems that the ghost of a dwarf must intervene, but he hasn't appeared to us...

Confirming Big Zorros issue on my file, named 4.0

After choosing the only travel option of "Deep undergound northward" it gives the error "The target enterance index is invalid: 0" and then closes the module.

I have enjoyed what I played of the adventure and my characters reached a pretty OP level nine but RIP are now locked in the bugged file version. It is not likely I would start the adventure all over again for the next chapter so I am hopeful that it will be offered with the broken link as a starting point.

Such a minor error doesn't reduce the fun I had along the way, just a minor late game code error which is damned unforgiving to the player

I am also getting the same error as reported by Seeker Faldren below

"The portal to the Dwarven city is giving me an error and kicking me out of the game, the screen with the portal is as far as I can get. clicking on it and chosing the only option of "Deep undergound northward" just results in an error saying "The target enterance index is invalid: 0"

Any idea on what the cause might be? I would like to continue the game but not really wanting to restart from the begging.
