Aerio K/67 Assault Gun

While the 75mm AT Cannon of the K/62 proved more than effective against armored vehicles well into the late stages of the war, Aerio engineers were contracted to mount a heavier, 105mm gun on their iconic chassis. To successfully mount this massive gun, the vehicle’s turret was redesigned to be open topped, allowing for increased ergonomics in the fighting compartment. This also allowed for easier spotting of enemy vehicles. While originally designed as an assault gun, the K/67 won the favor of both crews and generals alike as a capable pack hunter and mobile artillery platform.
