DESCRIPTION

The M1D0 "Helios" Extendable ATGM Carrier is a Tank Destroyer built on the Devastator Hull, with a turret capable of extending a launcher platform for Six BGM-6 Missiles, when fighting and training in densely wooded terrain, the Helios is the go-to alternative to taking out tanks and other heavily armoured vehicles, incorporating an extendable missile system, the Helios is designed to be able to peek over buildings, trees and other hard to counter terrain, further adding to it's abilities to harass enemy units with an additional autocannon, for when the Guided anti-tank missiles run dry.

The M1D0 "Helios" was the result of the surplus of M1A0 "Devastator" Tanks after subsequent upgrades in tandem with new vehicles from NordahlLunden entering service. It was found rather than scrapping all of the chassis, the model was suitable for retrofit to what would soon become the M1D0 "Helios".

Most notably, the Helios has earned the reputation of being called the "Goose" amongst rank-and-file, notably for when it was first rolled out, a short circuit in the system caused the 'fire' button to cause not only the missile to fire, but the horn to be triggered at the same time, making an aggressive honk sound, much akin to a "very angry goose." Earning it a distinctive nickname from Newquay Army troops.

HOW TO USE: (PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING)

How to start the tank:
- Press ENGINE ELECTRIC RELAY, FUEL VALVE and then ENGINE SWITCH
- Wait for the engine to spool up and start, make sure the ENGINE READY light is on.
- Use WASD for movement control.

To use the missile system:
-Make sure the tank's electric relay is ON
-Go to the GUNNER seat, press MASTER ARM and the monitor switches.
-Press HORIZONTAL STABILISER and then LAUNCHER EXTEND to extend the launcher to a desired height.
-Focus on MONITOR 2 for aiming & assistance.
-Press 1 on your seat to switch between your missiles & autocannon.
-Press your fire key (Default = Spacebar) to fire the weapon.
