A collection of mods that tries to keep the vanilla experience while enhancing the immersion of things. sound and other graphical stuff.

Only thing you need to specifically set for the graphic setting is Effect quality to High to Maximum.

Additionally, there's a couple more off site mods (from Nexus) that i can recommend for the UI.

TTRulez Immersive HUD: imo a more immersive, military inspired HUD. only downside is that on overheat, things might be a bit more hard to see.
