Transtar Aesthetics Ideology Style Weapon Retexture Pack

More retextures for weapons are still being made

This is the Ideology Style version of the mod.

To use it, select the Transtar Style in your Ideology menu.


Felt the retextures from the Ideology Style Prey 2017 Weapon Retexture mod were, let's just say out of place aesthetically and so created this to compliment it and make almost every Industrial Weapon look similar to those textures.

Currently has retextures for:


Due to the nature of how Ideology styles work in Rimworld, custom projectiles and items that get created without an "owner" won't be retextured in this version. Trying to do so would involve more than just XML.

@Mt. J Soda Updated the tags, same goes for the other Prey mods I made. It also made me find out the Golden Pistol Mod broke but I fixed that one as well lol

This still works in 1.4, however would it be possible to get the 1.4 tag added so it stops throwing errors up on bootup?

Hi! I really like your textures :) I think the style mechanics are ridiculously underutilized.

Just wanted to point out to anyone in here that this is softly incompatible with Combat Extended. You're retexturing EMPLauncher, which Combat Extended removes. This will cause the UI to crash when you hover over the style in the ideology screen.

To alleviate that, go to:
steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2799110199\1.4\Defs\StyleCategoryDefs\StyleCategoryDefs.xml and comment out or remove lines 41-44 or change Gun_EMPLauncher to something else (I used Gun_EMPRifle from rimsenal)
