11000W+ Nuclear Generator

Nuclear Reactor temp 270C~
Boiler Temp 120 on start up stable at 98-112
Boiler Pressure 7~
Steam Turbine RPS 2~

To start it up, you flip on the circuit breaker, turn the key then push the button.

The display screen shows the Core Average Temp, Watts, Flywheel RPS, Boiler Pressure, and Boiler Temperature on a bar graph. It also displays the Nuclear Reactors individual Core Temps as well as the Control Rod Insertion Targets.

The Info box on the right side shows the stage the Nuclear Reactor is on.

The Light Bulb in the bottom right of the Info Box will toggle off the Paintable Indicators with the exception of the two red to green indicators on the back. Those will turn on during the Generating Power stage.

Plays various tones when, turning on/off the Circuit Breaker, pressing the Light Bulb graphic, and when it changes stages.

Unfortunately it no longer seems to work (as many nuclear reactors no longer do :( )

That would work, the only issue i can think of would be the status bars would be maxed out. You're more than welcome to try changing the values in the lua script.

Good man, cheers. I've actually just seen your work on the new reactor and generator set up so what I'll do is just retrofit that into my new HMS Astute build and update the panel from the SPNG if that is ok?

@TheChris I've yet to work on this guy. I've done some tinkering with the steam stuff and will probably work to get this fixed this weekend.

Hi - Don't suppose that you are able to figure out how to fix this following the space dlc update? I can't get the boiler to heat and from that, my Vanguard is dead! I've tried myself but not really knowledgeable enough tbh...

@krail no, it just uses a little bit of blinking to speed up the flywheel spool up time. It will run stable at 5500-5600 watts. I have piston generators that don't blink up to speed but they also take like 30+minutes before they're somewhat near max output.
