The first Gothic mod ever came out about a week after the mod kit. Although it's actually out of competition as it comes from Bert Speckels, one of the Gothic programmers. He used the mod when testing the mod kit and changed the following things:

a) Scripts;
A few NPCs are dressed differently or walk around a little drunk =) I've also changed other small things. But there are no new quests.

b) overworld;
In the world I've changed quite a bit: Numerous trees look different or are in different places. Also, some items may not be where you expect them to be. Chests have been looted a bit and their contents spread around the world. Have fun searching =)

c) New Items;
Signposts in the upper world have been added as new items.
