HMS Cerberus (sinkable)

With the introduction of steam engines into military vessels, it wasn’t long before small, fast paddle steamers made an impact harassing enemy fleets and ferrying soldiers much faster than a contemporary sailing vessel. The Cerberus was designed to fit these roles, with a decent sized capacity for troop transport and enough firepower to harass merchant convoys, she can be a pain for an enemy fleet to deal with

16 knot top speed
Roughly 430km range at top speed (range decreases at lower speeds)
Length – 42.75m gundeck
Width – 8.25m, 13.75m with paddleboxes
Depth – 3.25m
Capacity for 9 crew and 22 troops

Armament
1 Artillery cannon mounted on foc’sle
3 Battle cannons mounted on around the stern
Numerous small arms

To start
Head into the ship and take any ladder down
On the very bottom deck of the ship, head to the boiler room in the middle
Turn the key on the boiler to light it
Once steam pressure has risen, you're good to go


To sink
Head to the captain’s cabin at the rear of the ship
Sit at the desk and you’ll see the keypad on it
Choose a sink mode

This causes a magazine detonation and a slow sink by the bow

Similar to method 1 but also requires winds to be turned up



Notes
Being a paddle wheeler, strong waves can prove a problem, best head to port.
In the event of striking a rock, Women and children first please.
