And again, in that combination (dx11 + texture pack, textures set to high) it works to launch game, but crashes on game save....

Apparently the crash is when Textures is set to Ultra High. If its reduced to High it doesnt crash. Whats the issue with that I wonder?

This texture pack has black texture where buckler of medium mercenary armor is. Doesn't load or texture is just black, Im hoping for a fix for that. Other than that 9/10

It's not that bad, but there are some issues. The chain lightning spell doesn't work properly, textures disappear and reappear when viewed from different angles, and there are occasional crashes.

subw00ter, Yes, you can. To do this, unzip the vdf file of the mod to a separate folder, and delete the following files:
LOADING.TEX
LOADING_ABANDONEDMINE.TEX
LOADING_FREEMINE.TEX
LOADING_OLDMINE.TEX
LOADING_ORCGRAVEYARD.TEX
LOADING_ORCTEMPEL.TEX
LOADING_WORLD.TEX

This will have the original loading screens (similar to the chapter screens from Chapter1.tex to Chapter6.tex).

After that, pack in the VDF textures and place in the mod folder with replacement. You can use the Gothic VDFS program to unpack and pack VDF files. There is a simpler option, just install any texture pack and put it in the priority in the launcher or in the game files.
