DESCRIPTION




The J/A-109 Shade is a light, Short Take off and Vertical Landing, or STOVL capable jet designed to operate from short runways as well as carrier operations. It served as a good fit between the A-32 and the J/A-107, offering more precise shots than the J/A-107 but faster than the A-32. The Vertical Take off and Landing features, or STOVL significantly reduced landing time, but also reduced range as a result.
STARTUP PROCEDURE:

- Ensure Primary Battery breaker is turned ON
- Enable Reserve Battery if needed
- Flip the "Fuel pump switch" on the right side of the cockpit
- Turn on the Enable Engine Switch
- Use throttle to control aircraft (1.0+ throttle is afterburner)
- Operate VTOL in the lower instrument panel.
- Use WASD and Up/Down Left/Right to operate VTOL
- Use throttle to operate throttle in normal and VTOL mode, do not go below .9 throttle in VTOL mode.

@Sid V This aircraft seems to have bad roll rate when fully loaded, is this intentional or is it an issue?

This aircraft is Short Take Off, Vertical Landing, it's not designed to take off vertically.

I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong, but the "Vertical Landing" part of the aircraft is impossible to use. No matter what I do, it keeps gaining altitude rather than losing it. I lower the throttle with the arrow keys, and then with the thrust control, but nothing works.

ok so idk if its me or the plane but it does not work right in vtol mode ill be flying in vtol mode trying to land or somthing and it will go fully haywire and start flying all over the place.so its either me being stupid or the plane
