I own the rights to code and assets I created for Combinable Augments (CA from now on because its long to type this). I've decided that copying my assets in whole is not something I will allow others to do without express permission to do so.

They asked me for permission to use the assets from CA and i said no. I told them that they did not in fact need to copy any of my assets and that they could use patches and overrides to achieve their goal. Instead of following these instructions they simply copied in whole most of the UI layout and Logic which should have never have been part of the mod to begin with as they could have simply asked to game to fetch the original ones from CA.

Not to mention that I don't want to have to spend time investigating bug reports for bugs that I've already fixed that are caused by add-ons that use outdated assets or code.

This is just business at the end of the day. You break my rules, you face consequences. If you correct your mistakes upon receiving notice of said mistake, like angelDGr did, nothing will happen and everything ends well for all.

Lol, it was my fault, don't be hard on him, I didn't think about Steam policies and how having files from another mod is stealing (which was honestly accidental), I'm really new to modding and honestly I'm glad that this happened, at least now I know how to patch properly.

For future compatibility reasons you should also remove the following files as they can be recreated using interactionData overrides and image processing directives:
\interface\scripted\steampunkaugmentcombiner\augmentcombiner.config
\interface\scripted\steampunkaugmentcombiner\combinericon.png

Replace your interactionData parameter in \objects\crafting\steampunkaugmentcombiner\steampunkaugmentcombiner.object to recreate the functionality of the two above mentioned files without causing any compatibility issues:
