A fleet approaches the coast of France, led by the King of England. On the horizon they see the mouth of the river Seine, where a hundred miles upriver lies the city of Paris. Taking this city could turn the war around. They raise their sails and make for the river.

BONK. The fleet bumps into an invisible wall. They can go no further.

"One sec" says the King. He goes below deck for a few minutes before returning.

"Try now"

The fleet sails onto the river with no problem!

"What did you do downstairs?!" asks the ship's captain, incredulous.

"I converted to Norse lol"

Have you ever wondered why your religion restricts you from using rivers? What magic power do Norse boats have that lets them go where no other religion can?

With this mod, all religions can navigate major rivers.



Should be compatible with most mods, with the exception of mods adding completely new religions. I personally play with a few mods that alter religion and had no problems. If a mod adds completely new religions then it probably won't work. Let me know if you find a compatibility issue!

For some reason this mode removed all christian title icons on the map. No new religion mods

I'm using the cleanslate version of Ancient Religions Reborn and Holmgardr can't use rivers.
Norse noble with Slavic religion.
Perhaps "ECNR - CleanSlate" is the way ahead?

@SpectralPanda I used the most recent HIP mod from the forums with SWMH and EMF. I would also think that you can just copy paste the religion lines from the HIP mod and then just simply add the lines that gives them the river ability.

@Interesting2752 Are there multiple HIP mods? I just used the one on the workshop and it seemed to work fine. If it doesn't work for you I am very sorry but I don't know how to make a compatibility patch.

@SpectralPanda That's strange, because when I use the mod with HIP, all of the HIP mods suddenly get replaced with noreligion and they're unavailable to play as.
