OPC Monticlaw - Large Mining Ship

The constant expansion of territories and the increase in OPC's ore needs prompted engineers to develop a new mining ship capable of carrying out work in remote and undeveloped regions of Consolidation. The first experimental ship "Monticlaw" was produced at the Ontosh shipyards in parallel with the launch of the first Stoneclaw class production line and due to this, it made it possible to verify compatibility even at the construction stage of models. Despite the fact that the tests of the vessel were carried out in the depths of the Consolidation industry core, where all the necessary infrastructure exists, the main task of these tests was to make sure that the ship was autonomous and could be used as a mobile mining base, as it was originally intended.

Although the design of the ship provides for direct mining on it using a special arm, first of all, this vessel was developed by OPC engineers to work as a control center for mining drones and coordination center of small mining vessels (such as Stoneclaw). To fulfill its tasks, the ship is equipped with docks for drones, mining ships, external docking ports, an ore processing plant and spacious cargo compartments.

Most of the ships produced are delivered to distant regions for Consolidation needs, while the foreign market receives its models by special orders. Nevertheless, the demand for this type of ships is low due to the fact that only large organizations and teams of independent engineers will be able to get the greatest efficiency when using it.

Mining arm is optional

This ship contains a PAM script that allows the owners of the ship to use it as a mobile base for automatic mining drones. All the basic settings for using this script have already been made, however, you need to read the instructions for using this script
