S.N. BR - 01 "Barramundi" Class Submarine

The BR - 01 was the first submarine made by Segier, and was put into service just as the war broke out to attack erilian convoys. Made for a 3 man crew and with a top speed of around 15 knots it was found to be very effective at the start of the war, combined sinking over 50 merchant ships in 1 year. It was discontinued after erilia developed a better sub hunting aircraft.

This guy is a bit complicated to operate but not hard. If you want to use in combat i HIGHLY recommend using 2 people. This sub has 2 battery banks, each of which power the sub when the engine is unable too. The engine is also connected to a generator for when you surface, to recharge these batteries. If you are above water and want to run the electric motor, just turn the electric motor throttle all the way. If you want to start the engine, turn up the engine throttle. Then if you want to move on that engine, turn the engine clutch, If you want to generate electricity, the turn up the generator clutch. To dive simply fill both ballast tanks (WHILE MOVING) and dive down. Once you are at a desirable depth turn on the depth hold. To fire the torpedoes simply turn the key to unlock them and fire. No tracking, they just go straight. Radar and hydrophone are in the front, autocannon on top, a little viewing deck, controls are in the lower rear, and thats about it. Enjoy!
