High-Speed Diving Yacht R.S.V. Alaska + Sea Scooters

The R.S.V. Alaska is designed and built as a high-speed, quick response laboratory, allowing crew to perform diving operations in speed, style and luxury. The sleek and low hull and superstructure allow the vessel to reach speeds in excess of 45 knots while also withstanding hurricane force winds and open ocean waves. The two SAAP C-X Sea Scooters mounted on the rear can be deployed to perform diving missions up to 250m deep. Capable of diving missions, probe deployment, research, and exploration, the Alaska can excel at a multitude of tasks, all while hosting VIP guests in luxurious accommodations.

OMUA (Oceanic Marine Underwater Agency), a (fictional) multinational marine and research agency, built the Alaska for rapid deployment diving projects and as well as rescue missions. The yacht also features private luxury living quarters, a large and open lounge, a covered deck with hottub, a sundeck, and a laboratory. As with all OMUA vessels, all systems are designed to be operated by a 1-man crew, in case of emergencies. The Alaska has a standard operations crew of 3 and up to 6 other staff.

Turn on engines in bridge.

• Find the bulletin board in the main hallway - it has some tips and tricks for the vessel
  
• The ship may be erratic in heavy seas, requiring a good captain. Lower speed, turn on the active stabilization, use your gear ratios, fill the ballast tanks, use the trim, and steer into/with the wind.
  
• The attached vehicles may be limited to a 5 km radius otherwise will cause the main vessel to disappear.
