High-Tech F-22 Raptor

描述
A hyper-maneuverable and speedy jet resembling the F-22 Raptor, this aircraft is extremely effective against enemy aircraft and ships.

Cost (full arsenal, no fuel): $~60k

This is still very much a work in progress, and not really suitable for campaign.

Features
• Twin Jet engine with 220 knot top speed (260 w/ afterburner) and ~170km fuel range
• Fully digital cockpit with radar-integrated HUD
• Autopilot with touchscreen map and manual entry
• Retractable landing gear
• Fly by wire system with a togglable high maneuverability mode (pulls like 11 Gs!)
• Folding wings for storage in a carrier or hangar
• Various buzzers, including terrain and altitude warnings (coming soon: radar and beacon detection)
• 8x wing hardpoints
Armament
• 8x Radar-Tracking Missiles (air-to-air and air-to-ship capability, ~2km range, 0.11 FOV fixed forward radar)
• HE Light Autocannon mounted in the nose (200 ammo)
Countermeasures
• 32x Chaff Launchers (fired in pairs)

Startup Sequence
• Get in the cockpit, and then close the canopy and turn off the brakes by tapping their respective screens (note: all of the indicators (ie. "BRAKES" and "CANOPY") can be toggled by tapping on them with "q" or "e")
• Hit "1" to startup the engines. Throttle starts at full, and can be adjusted with up/down arrows.
• To setup the autopilot, set an autopilot altitude via the keypad, tap on a location on the map, and hit "6" or tap "AUTO"
• Once you're off the ground, tap "GEAR" to retract the landing gear

Tips and Tricks
• The missiles have a pretty narrow radar, so make sure that you're pointing near the target before firing! If pulling a high-G turn, you should fire about when the velocity indicator and radar indicator intersect.
• The missiles have a longer range if you fire them while moving straight at a high speed! You can really push the range, especially against enemy ships
• Careful on takeoffs, you'll tail strike if you pull up as hard as you can
• Controller recommended! The fly by wire system will seem quite jerky without it
• The units between the autopilot and HUD do not match up. The HUD uses knots for speed, feet per second for climb rate, and "flight level" (hundreds of feet in whole numbers) for altitude. The Autopilot altitude keypad uses meters
• A couple of features are outright broken, don't use them. These include the Flaps and the Store mode (folds up the wings, but they bounce allover)

WIP/Not Implemented
• Flaps (they exist but they don't work as advertised, like at all)
• When the wings are folded up in "STORE" mode, they bounce all over
• Steering on the ground
• Landing/Takeoff autopilot modes
• Hardpoint display and management screen
• Other hardpoint armaments
• The current Radar-Tracking missiles suck at detecting ground targets…
• HOTAS compatibility
