Hydrophone (STW)

A hydrophone designed for STW use.

A hydrophone listens to sound below the water and detects enemy vessels. In stormworks via the use of a sonar and some math this MC tries to mimic this.

The Hydrophone/Sonar, MC, and console for using it are all set up already. Feel free to modify it in any way to make it more accurate to your creation.

There are a few outputs on the instrument panels:

• Sound level Shows the current sound level, read this to understand when you are pointed at a target
  
• Filtered sound level Average of the sound level, smoother movement
  
• Audible signal Shows when the sound level is past 0.95
  
• Direction Shows your current direction

• Gain up Increase gain
  
• Gain down Lower gain
  
• Gain Shows your current gain setting (Multiplier to input signals, makes it more sensitive to sound but increases FOV and range)

There is a breaker for hooking up electricity, make sure to connect your input electricity to the A input on the breaker, so that the sonar does not passively drain electricity.

Besides these inputs, you will need to do customisation on your own, as it has no built in settings on the MC.
For changing color and stuff on the display you will need to edit the LUA code.
