Volkswagen Type 82 "Kubelwagen" - Roof Mod

** This is the roof up version of my Type 82 Kubelwagen.


The Volkswagen type 82 "Kubelwagen" was a four seat multi-role vehicle developed for the German military during WWII. It entered service for the first time in 1940 and served until 1945. The Kubelwagen's role in the German military was roughly equivalent to that of the "Willys" jeep developed by the U.S. It featured a 4 cylinder boxer engine and two-wheel drive.

In-game specs:

• 2 cylinder 1x1 engine

• All-wheel drive
  
  
• ~170 km/h top speed
  
  
• ~25km range

Note that the real Kubelwagen's top speed was roughly 80 km/h. My version goes faster for more convenient use in game.

This replica is 1:1 scale except for some height issues due to limitations in game. it is about half a block too tall.

Driving Instructions:

• Start the engine with the key on the left, engine will automatically start and maintain idle RPS.
  
  
• Use the up/down arrows to change the gearing. This vehicle uses a 3 speec forward/reverse transmission. Press 5
  to go into reverse mode.
  
  
• To stop the engine, simply turn off the key to your left.

Additional Info:

• To check the remaining fuel, stop the vehicle and walk around to the hose anchor on the left side of the vehicle,
  there is a dial that will indicate remaining fuel. Note that once the dial is at 0, there may still be some fuel in the pipes.
  
  
• It is recommended that you use a male character when driving in first person, this allows you to see over the dash
  better.
