i haven't touched the model in any way since it was initially uploaded, so i'm not quite sure what the reason behind the malfunctioning reflections are: maybe it has something to do with the game itself?
best bet'd be to mess around with the console and see if that does anything, i reckon
I've tested it today at basics garry's mod map and i have absolutely no reflects on the model.
I've already redownloading the addon and garry's mod and have the same issue after, so now im trying to find the solution.
Probably the is some console command that can fix it?
I've already use mat_specular 1 to fix it, but have no result with it...
unfortunately, i'm just reuploading these models: beyond that, i had no part in the actual processes of porting (or rigging) them
i did a quick search through the addon's files, and both the bumpmaps and the phongs (which're traditionally responsible for handling a model's reflections) are there
as far as i know, the only scenario that'd result in the reflections being hidden is if the model is fullbrighted, or slotted into a fullbrighted map
(when in doubt, though, you can always try redownloading the addon and validating the files, to see if that fixes anything)
I have some issues with these reflections.
Actually my issue came from the fact that I don't have these reflections at all, and I just have a black model like in your first screenshot.
Maybe you know how to solve it?
i don't do ports, npcs, or anything fancy like that: merely reuploaded this commissioned playermodel, just in case others might want to use it
